With read-only depth/stencil attachments, ANGLE utilizes storeOp=NONE to optimize memory bandwidth (by avoiding write back of tile memory at the end of the render pass). Simultaneoulsy, this avoids a synchronization hazard with the next write to that depth/stencil image. If a framebuffer contains a depth/stencil attachment but it's unused, ANGLE utilizes loadOp=NONE/storeOp=NONE to effectively remove any memory bandwidth wasted on the attachment.
