The current bindings seem to make the assumption that the two VPUs hardware blocks (G1 and G2) are only one set of registers. After implementing the VPU reset driver and G2 decoder driver it shows that all the VPUs are independent and don't need to know about the registers of the other blocks. Remove from the bindings the need to set all blocks register but keep reg-names property because removing it from the driver may affect other variants. Implement all the logic to get G2 hardware decoding HEVC frames. It support up level 5.1 HEVC stream. It doesn't support yet 10 bits formats or scaling feature. Add HANTRO HEVC dedicated control to skip some bits at the beginning of the slice header. That is very specific to this hardware so can't go into uapi structures. The V4L2 temporary clock helper API, was introduced in late 2012 and, as mentioned in the documentation, meant to be replaced by the generic clock API, once the generic clock framework became available on all relevant architectures. The generic clock API is a well-established API (since a few years now). The last few media capture drivers and sensors using v4l2-clk have been converted to the generic clock framework.
