Small set of improvements to process and documentation

Switch from gst-build to the GStreamer mono-repository (link). Fix various small typos and use official spelling for some software products while at it. And finally, add a small script to ease the preparation of the environment and add a description of how to work with the cross build environment without a NFS rootfs.
