experiment: Remove all new line transformations from shell logger

1). Allows for better gitlab logs. Gitlab uses \r in the collapsable sections as a part of section markers. To have nicely formatted output the \r must be preserved from the output.

2). Sometimes the serial console would print empty new lines as output. It is beneficial to log those empty lines.
